The knowledge hub features the evidence foundation the Cities Changing Diabetes programme has been built on over the years, with peer-reviewed publications, internal reports, briefing books, conference abstracts, and podcasts, created in partnership with world-leading research institutions, our partner cities, and media outlets.

It compiles the tools, methods, and findings of the programme from the past six years. It is key for us to showcase how research and practice have been working together to change diabetes in cities. We believe sharing is a critical part of inspiring others and facilitating change.

The Urban Diabetes Toolbox is the precursor to the newly launched Urban Diabetes Action Framework. It can be used to complement the framework, to determine the scale of the diabetes challenge in your context and the future trajectory of the disease, but also to better understand the level of vulnerability of the population, what makes it vulnerable, and which populations sub-groups to consider when developing an intervention.
